frequently asked questions

How do I become a member of Waterford Gymnastics Club?
We currently have a waiting list as all our regular classes are full. If you are interested in becoming a member of WGC, and would like to be added to this waiting list, please fill in the above Waiting List Form. Once a place becomes available, or a new class is formed, we will be in touch with those on our waiting list with all the details via email.  We run open classes for non-members throughout the year and our holiday camps are open to both members and non-members.  Those on our waiting list will receive an open class/holiday camp notification email with the details. We also invite you to follow us on facebook: Waterford Gymnastics Club and instagram: @waterford_gymnastics to help you to stay up to date on all our events.

What should gymnasts wear/bring to class?
General sports gear with hair tied back. If you are interested in purchasing a club tracksuit, t-shirt, or bag, please follow this link: https://alfiehale.com/collections/waterford-gymnastics-club
Please bring a bottle of water.
Gymnasts must remove their shoes before beginning their class and may be asked to remove their socks during the class, depending on the equipment in use. They are invited to store their belongings in one of the cubby holes. It is important to note that belongings are stored in the cubby holes at the gymnasts own risk. We ask that valuables are not brought into the gym.
Do parents/guardians stay during class?
Parents/Guardians are not required to stay for the class hour. If you would like to stay and watch, you are welcome to take a seat in our viewing area. Please note that photography is NOT permitted to protect all/other kids in the class.
